TRANS VISIBILTY & ALLYSHIP
Celebrate the transgender community by gaining an understanding of history, important figures, trans visibility, challenges, and issues of today. This seminar provides an education on sex vs gender vs sexuality and useful terminology in a non-judgemental learning environment.
Participants will learn how to demonstrate respect by practicing inclusive language and using proper pronouns for marginalized demographics, such as the transgender community. They will leave knowing how to create inclusive spaces and understand the difference between actual allyship and performative allyship. This is applicable for individuals both in personal and professional life.
